What we tile in a bathroom
- Floors: porcelain, ceramic, marble, mosaics and large-format tile, including heated floors
- Shower walls and floors over Schluter KERDI waterproofing
- Tub surrounds and tiled tub decks
- Feature walls: book-matched marble, fluted tile, zellige, patterns
- Borders, inlays and herringbone laid out to the room
- Powder rooms and small bathrooms where every cut shows

Layout comes first
Most of what makes a bathroom look expensive is decided before any tile is set. We plan the layout around the room: where the cuts land, how grout lines meet the shower glass, niche and vanity, and how the floor tile runs into the doorway. That way you don't end up with thin slivers at the wall or a crooked line at the threshold.
Heated floors
We install electric floor heating under tile, including the Schluter DITRA-HEAT system, which combines the heating cable with an uncoupling membrane. The electrician makes the final connection to the thermostat.
Condo bathrooms
Condos come with rules: elevator bookings, work hours, noise limits and protection for hallways. We plan around your building's requirements and keep the work area contained and clean. Tell us your building's rules when you ask for a quote, and we'll include them in the schedule.
Working with your plumber or contractor
We focus on tile, stone and waterproofing. If you're doing a full renovation, we can work alongside your general contractor, plumber and electrician, or you can hire us directly for the tile part of the job.
Price
Full bathroom tiling (floor plus shower) typically runs from $6,500 to $12,000 in labour, depending on size, tile and preparation. The price guide breaks this down.
